The Onboarding Process

Prior to First Session

Upon scheduling the initial session, the client reviews the onboarding packet

Client completes the pre-session checklist and returns it before the appointment

Client reviews the agreements and prepares any questions or clarifications

Walk through the space together to start initial planning

Establish scope of work and boundaries

Outline a plan for sorting, organizing, and item removal

Confirm session structure, time estimates, and project rate

Define roles and responsibilities

Start woking through the space

Assign follow ups and next steps. If applicable, set a date for the next session.
What a Session Entails
All sessions are hands-on, personalized, and focused on creating clarity and functionality. each session includes:

Comprehensive onboarding process to define the project

Onsite assessment and checkins
-
Guided sorting and decision-making
-
Light cleaning as needed during the process
-
Support with storage solutions (Containers, labeling, etc)
-
Simple space-holding practices to support indecision and emotional fatigue
-
Low pressure and easeful communication
-
Resetting the space so it’s immediately usable
-
Removal of donation items, if applicable
-
A copy of the Conscious Decluttering Handbook for maintenance support

Rates
Rates are project-based and depend on the size and complexity of the work area. Situations that may affect rate include accumulation level, the need for protective gear, presence of biohazards, heavy lifting, high-density clutter, and/or other special handling requirements.
General to Light Accumulation — $75/hour

A four-hour minimum per session

General accumulation, disorganization, everyday untidiness

Spaces void of unsanitary materials or need for hazardous cleanup (no gloves, masks, or protective gear)

Client consents to before-and-after photos for promotional use (Space only. No people. Space will remain anonymous)
Moderate to heavy Accumulation— $85/hour

A three-hour minimum per session

Moderate to heavy accumulation across spaces
-
Some physically demanding sorting or lifting
-
Typical household dust or grime, but no biohazards
-
Light cleaning and reset of space
High Volume Accumulation — $95/hour

A six-hour minimum per session (With a 30 min break)

High-volume accumulation or long-avoided space
-
Physically demanding activities or conditions (Projects with tight spaces, deep storage, repetitive lifting
-
Projects that include construction, building or remodeling (Putting together prefab furniture, staining, painting, etc.)

Includes general cleaning of final space
Specialty / Complex Projects — Custom Rates

Garages, barns, workshops, sheds, or storage units

Projects involving animal presence, pest remnants

Time-sensitive or urgent requests
